At slcc there are issues of return book policy as mentioned in my last blog. There are two sides to the issue and a chain of irresponsibility in this case. When Kelli and I went back to Slcc to return our English book for the third time we asked a person who worked in the book store about the matter of why it was so hard to get this book and why it was never available. She told us the the teacher that orders the book did it last second and that the also did not specify what edition. Of course our school ordered the wrong book.... When Kelli and I waited for the book to come in, it was 2x as expensive! ug!
The other side to the story is that the book store should have taken into account the there was many selections for that particular book and not guess what book it was. The didn't take into account how many students would be needing the book therefor a short age in supply. There needs to be a deadline for the special book or they just need to just use the normal ENG 1010 book
It sucks!
